What services do you offer at Wayfare Counseling?

At our counseling practice, we provide comprehensive mental health services for individuals, couples, children, and adolescents. Our experienced therapists offer support for a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and behavioral challenges.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling an appointment is easy. You can contact our office directly by phone or email, or you can use our online scheduling system available on our website.

What age groups do you work with?

We offer counseling services for individuals of all ages, from children to adolescents and adults. Different therapist specialize in working with different age groups, so make sure to check out each clinician’s bio on Our Providers page or reach out to our Administrative Assistant to be matched with the right therapist.

How long is each counseling session?

Sessions typically last 50 minutes for individuals and couples. However, the duration for children and adolescents may vary based on their age and needs.

What can I expect during the first session?

The initial session is an opportunity for you and your therapist to get to know each other. You’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and any questions you may have. It’s also a time for the therapist to gather relevant information to create a tailored treatment plan.

Do you offer virtual (telehealth) sessions?

Yes, we do offer virtual sessions for individuals, couples, and families. This provides flexibility for those who may find it challenging to attend in-person appointments.

How much does counseling cost?

Our therapist’s rates vary between $135 and $210 per session, reflecting the diverse expertise and experience they bring to the table. Our pricing structure is designed to fairly compensate our therapists based on their extensive training, specialized skill sets, and years of clinical practice, ensuring that you receive tailored and high-quality care that aligns with your specific needs. 

We also offer sessions with Masters-Level Clinical Interns at both locations, who charge $90 per session. Our interns also provide personalized fee structures through a sliding scale model tailored to individual income levels. Is counseling confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a priority in our practice. Information shared during sessions is kept confidential, adhering to legal and ethical standards. There are, however, some exceptions that your therapist will discuss with you during the first session.

How long does counseling typically last?

The duration of counseling varies based on individual needs and goals. Some clients find resolution in a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy. Your therapist will collaborate with you to determine the most suitable timeframe for your unique situation.

Do you accept insurance?

We currently do not accept insurance directly. However, we can provide you with the necessary documentation to submit for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider. Please check with your insurance company to understand your coverage for mental health services.
